“I spent the first chunk of my career in investment banking, and got to know so many business owners in every industry. One thing I heard from all of them was that they struggled with marketing. They didn’t understand why it was valuable. They hired a big agency, and spent tons of money but it didn’t drive their bottom line. They read a few books and tried to do it themselves and eventually gave up.

I started PBM to pull back the curtain on marketing. Marketing is about a certain mindset. Educating people on why marketing is critical to their business, and how it works is what I consider our primary purpose. I know that when you cut through all the jargon, demystify all the high tech terms and teach people how marketing is a revenue driver – and not a cost center – they understand the value.

That’s the philosophy that let me build a successful career in finance, and the one I bring to work at PBM every day.
